Sehari bersama SDN 3 Banjar Jawa

13 Maret 2019, Bali Edukasi mendapat undangan untuk mengisi acara jeda semester di kelas 2C SD N 3 Banjar, Singaraja. Kakak-kakak Bali Edukasi yang mengikuti kegiatan tersebut adalah Kak Mandala Putra, Kak Pirda, dan Kak Mangsri. Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung sangat singkat, hanya 1 jam. Namun, sarat akan manfaat dan sajian informasi yang padat.

Kegiatan tersebut benar-benar fun learning. Di awal pembelajaran, diisi dengan storytelling yang dibawakan oleh Kak Mangsri dan Kak Pirda yang bercerita tentang The Lion and the Mouse”. Dari cerita tersebut, kakak-kakak Bali Edukasi mengajarkan pendidikan karakter melalui nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam cerita. Anak-anak tidak hanya mendengarkan begitu saja, namun diberi tantangan agar menyimak cerita tersebut dengan baik karena diakhir cerita akan diberi pertanyaan. Topik yang diberikan oleh kakak-kakak Bali Edukasi sangat tepat sekali dengan salah satu topik mereka di kelas 2 yaitu tentang animal, kata Ibu Desak yang merupakan wali kelas 2C.

Kegiatan tidak berakhir disana, dilanjutkan dengan game wisper yang mengajarkan anak-anak agar bisa meningkatkan listening skill  mereka. Beberapa ada yang takut karena takut salah menjawab, beberapa ada yang bahagia karena bisa mendengarkan dengan baik, dan ada yang kebingungan sehingga tolah toleh memberi kode agar dibantu temannya, intinya game tersebut “petjah” dan sangat seru.

Kegiatan selanjutnya yaitu mendengarkan cerita. Kakak-kakak Bali Edukasi menceritakan cerita dalam bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan storybook tentang animal. Anak-anak sangat antusias mendengarkan dan bahkan ada yang ikut menebak-nebak kelanjutan cerita dari setiap cerita yang dibacakan. Karena terbentur waktu, akhirnya kegiatan berakhir sampai disana.

Kedepannya dari kegiatan ini, anak-anak akan belajar untuk mendongeng dan mengambil moral value dari cerita yang dibawakan sehingga bisa diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tawa, senyum, bahagia dari anak-anak kelas 2C di SD N 3 Banjar terlihat jelas setelah kegiatan berakhir. Hal tersebut membuat kakak-kakak Bali Edukasi sangat termotivasi dan ingin berbagi lebih banyak lagi kepada mereka. Semoga dikesempatan lain, Bali Edukasi bisa berbagi lagi kepada adik-adik kelas 2C di SD N 3 Banjar, Singaraja. Semangat.
